Thanks for stopping by and visiting! I'm originally from Ky and God brought me to Indiana about 13 years ago.
I've known the Lord since I was 12, but He filled me with His Holy Spirit about 8 years ago, and I ain't never been the same!! My purpose in life is to know Him, to know and do His will in my life and to share His love with others who need Him!
He's given me a wonderful family, a husband, teenage son and daughter. We all love the country and animals! Horses, dogs, and chickens. (I'm doing my best to talk my hubby out of the goat!) We love to ride and camp with the horses and can't wait to Spring!
I love to take in the magnificence of the forest, the scent of pine, the rustling of leaves as we walk along. Sometimes I like to ride by myself and sit on my steed's back as I converse with the Lord. My horse listens quietly, never interrupts, and keeps my prayers between him, God and me. He stands patiently as I read my little travel bible or close my eyes to soak in His presence and he seems to enjoy it also, as if he is soaking too. I marvel at the fields, a tapestry of colors of wildflowers painted by the Master Artist that changes with each season. Even the mild summer nights shimmer in their own glory bathed in moonlight and only interrupted by sound of an occasional whipperwill and the footfalls of my horse's hooves.
Do we take our forests for granted? I often think so. We drive by the woods, not even imagining what lies beneath their depths. Do you know what it's like to hear a buck deer call for his doe? What does the chatter of a squirrel sound like or the croak of a bull frog? Do you notice the proud red tailed hawk as he sits up on his high perch watching intently on the world below?
I'm so thankful for the beauty He has so masterfully created for us to enjoy and take care of, aren't you?
