Praying in the Names of GOD is an amazing book. Prayers That Avail Much is also a wonderful book to have. The Jewish Literacy book is by a Rabbi, but it gives me a better description of some of the Jewish terms, customs, and such. I read a wide assortment of reference material that I can find online, through books I own, and material in library. This way I can check, verify, and compare via all the reference. I will update my book list as I go along. I WANT to read 'Eye to Eye' - Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel - by William Koenig. I did put it on the list, since I would LOVE to read it so. A friend of mine recently sent me a copy of The Journey by Billy Graham. I read it again, for the second time, and got even more out of it than the first time (This often happens--when you read something again!)! It really is a good book.

I watch a lot of different things on television. I've watched many teacher, speakers, etc and generally learned something from each one of them, along the way. I enjoy seeing programs that help understand ancient world and Hebrew culture. I find it helps me to understand the Bible easier. These programs are ohhhh so educational: I CERTAINLY suggest you might watch "THE NAKED ARCHAEOLOGIST" (he's not really naked--but it's a WONDERFUL, INFORMATIVE, Bibical Archaeological program). His name is Simcha Jacobovici. I learn a lot from "Zola Levitt Presents" , "Jewish Voice with Jonathan Bernis", "Manna-Fest with Perry Stone", "JEWISH JEWELS"-- For more secular shows, I generally like comedies. Laughter is good medicine. I find the older comedies are cleaner and more to my liking than the newer stuff.
