I realize some people do not like music on websites. I now have two players. To hear either one you will have to click the start button on the player. You can click the off or pause button to stop the music. Please note on the pink player that I have classical music. In fact, I have some songs with different versions of the song. So, no, it is not a mistake to see the same name more than once. LOL!!! I love the songs and thought I would share these with my readers! Enjoy! Thank you for looking at my site and blogs.

*ANY BLOGS I HAVE ON THIS SITE ARE MY OWN OR THAT I AGREE WITH SOMEONE'S OPINION, (I DO GIVE CREDIT TO THOSE PEOPLE OR ORGANIZATIONS) AND NOT ASSOCIATED WITH ANY DENOMINATION AND/OR CHURCH!

Jewish/15538003.jpgJewish-02_amall.gif
I started my journey in a unique way. When I was very small, my paternal grandmother carried me to a Baptist Church on Sunday morning. My maternal grandmother carried me to an Assembley of God church on Sunday night. I learned early on to fellowship with believers of more than one denomination. I STILL visit various denominations for fellowship.

One thing I learned, in my journey, that may differ a bit from some of you is that I CHOOSE to use the Hebrew names of God, Yahweh. I use the Hebrew name for the Messiah, Yeshua. This is the same Messiah most of you call Jesus, not some "cult" teaching. I find Messianic Jewish study really informative, since a Messianic Jew does accept the Messiah, as we do. I do not try to change people to my way, it's just a choice I made that I feel embraces the Messiah's Jewish roots and the language HE spoke. I find learning to understand the Hebrew culture and language helps me understand the Bible a lot better.

I've been through a lot in the past four years. I've grown a lot through this and realize how much I truly depend on HIS help, protection, and mercy. I am healing and am so thankful that I do have HIM for love, friendship, guidance, strength, and so many things that I won't even try to write it all here.

Try out the photo cube. You can turn it in any direction and stop it on any image for a closer look. I did not post only photos, so the writing may appear backwards until it turns to the front or you stop it for a closer look.

It's time to PRAY!

Books
Praying in the Names of GOD is an amazing book. Prayers That Avail Much is also a wonderful book to have. The Jewish Literacy book is by a Rabbi, but it gives me a better description of some of the Jewish terms, customs, and such. I read a wide assortment of reference material that I can find online, through books I own, and material in library. This way I can check, verify, and compare via all the reference. I will update my book list as I go along. I WANT to read 'Eye to Eye' - Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel - by William Koenig. I did put it on the list, since I would LOVE to read it so. A friend of mine recently sent me a copy of The Journey by Billy Graham. I read it again, for the second time, and got even more out of it than the first time (This often happens--when you read something again!)! It really is a good book.
Television
I watch a lot of different things on television. I've watched many teacher, speakers, etc and generally learned something from each one of them, along the way. I enjoy seeing programs that help understand ancient world and Hebrew culture. I find it helps me to understand the Bible easier. These programs are ohhhh so educational: I CERTAINLY suggest you might watch "THE NAKED ARCHAEOLOGIST" (he's not really naked--but it's a WONDERFUL, INFORMATIVE, Bibical Archaeological program). His name is Simcha Jacobovici. I learn a lot from "Zola Levitt Presents" , "Jewish Voice with Jonathan Bernis", "Manna-Fest with Perry Stone", "JEWISH JEWELS"-- For more secular shows, I generally like comedies. Laughter is good medicine. I find the older comedies are cleaner and more to my liking than the newer stuff. ALL OF MY BLOGS ARE LISTED AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE TO MAKE IT EASIER TO SEE MY PREVIOUS BLOGS. CLICK ON THE TITLE OF THE BLOG YOU WISH TO READ ! THANK YOU.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:11

Reflection

Our lives prior to our personal redemption consisted of various backgrounds—some of which were very carnal (see the list in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10). Yet as Christians, those are now things of the past and should no longer control us. We have been washed! When we became Christians, we were cleansed of our sins. Sanctification is the process of setting us apart for God and growing in righteousness. Lastly, we were justified because of Christ's work and atonement. Our destination is not eternal bondage of sin and grief, but by the grace of God, we have a heavenly destination! A place of eternal joy and everlasting peace!
