Welcome I am a 39 year old paraplegic entrepreneur. I am currently self-employed, working at home as a national facility maintenance dispatcher. The name of the company is Professional Dispatch Services. I have previous experience in office management for a well log digitizing service company to the oil exploration industry giants, like ChevronTexaco. Before that I worked with a company producing safety training videos.
yChrist Fellowship (website) Now, however, I work for myself at home. This affords me a lot of time for prayer, study, and availability. In December 2006, I felt led by the Lord to begin a house church in our small apartment, so we did. We still have very few that come, but we still have our doors open, and we meet with others in their homes as well. We get together with others at least once per week, sometimes more. I created a non-profit organization to allow tax-deductions for contributions for those that prefer the tax advantage. However, that is the only purpose we have for a church name, because we don't really use it for anything else.
I feel led to serve this group of people in the capacity of pastor, but not in a formal, dictatorial, lecture-style of 'group management' by any means. Instead, I look to serve the group as a facilitator, an intercessor, a helper, and friend. I do not feel a compulsion to introduce myself as 'Pastor' or assign that title to all that I do. I reserve the use of the title only for legal purposes for the organization. The service is my gift to the group.
Warrior Life (website) A new Christian men's group will be forming the end of next month. This is a new group being created by yChrist Fellowship and will be free for all attendees. We only ask each man to pay his own way for special events, like backpacking, movies, bowling, etc. which is scheduled once each month. Please do not bring visitors under 18 due to possible mature subject matter during open-discussion meetings.
Warrior Life is about attacking life and life's circumstances with the ferocity and tenacity of a warrior. It is time for men to start living the high life that has been provided by Christ.
One integral aspect to enjoying the fullness of Warrior life and the effects of this revolution is to get plugged in to a small group. Small groups allow for like minded men to share their own warrior experiences, provide accountability and offer a refuge of safety from the battles that men face. Small groups offer a dynamic and vibrant way for men to learn about and experience warrior life.
Warrior Life small groups are based on a system of biblical principles that will challenge men and encourage them to rise to a new level in life. Some of the challenging topics covered by the small groups are:
1. Weaknesses must be mastered 2. Your life requires a violent fight 3. Think big, act big, speak big 4. Your ability in life comes through training 5. Responsibility for the fight 6. Understand your purpose 7. Warriors run to the battle
Are You A Warrior? We have the Warrior Life meeting every Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. and attendance is free. We aggressively pursue life and our position in it. Each attendee pays their own way to special events (hiking, movies, bowling, etc.) to prevent confusion. Please stop by and see if we are what you need.
