Hello, my name is Zak. I am 25. I have a 2yr old son named Ethan with my fiance Bridgette. We have been together for 6 years and getting married Mar 20th 2009(MAUI BABY!!!!!!!!). I was born and raised in Visalia (except for a couple years in SLO). I graduated high school at Farmersville High School and then went to COS for a little where I studied architecture. Since then I've been breaking my back in the work world (if only I stayed in school). I've been blessed with a wonderful fiance that puts up with me and the most awesome son in the world(my little dude).
I was raised in pentecostal churches since I was 7. My father made sure i went with him every week. I was a part of Calvary Holiness in Farmersville under pastor Jim Wiley untill I got into my later teens. Then I back slid and didn't go to church for a long time. Early 2008, I started to feel that God wanted me to straiten my act up. I started getting all these feelings and thoughts and for the first time, really believe that the Lord was answering some of my questions. So, I started listening to KDUV radio station and praying for guidence. One day while listening to KDUV I came across a message spoke by Pastor Ron from VBF. What he said really pierced my whole being. I could feel God reaching out to me. Ever since I can't stop listening to Pastor Ron. He really made me understand some things about God and myself that I never knew. When I heard that Pastor Ron wanted to start a church in Visalia I knew I had to be a part of it. So I went to the meeting at the Holiday Inn here in Visalia. When I saw what VBF was all about it was totally how I felt about God and religion. I am excited to be a part of the VBF family so God bless and I'll see you on Sunday
